If you’re an online bingo fanatic like me you’ll have probably seen the new sites that crop up on a weekly basis offering free bingo. But is it really free I hear you ask. Well there are two ways that a site may offer free online bingo and whilst technically both are “free”, in my opinion one is far better than the other.
Free Deposit Bonus
Inexperienced online bingo players often see the free deposit bonus as the better option of the two. I don’t but we’ll come to this in a bit. Basically all a free deposit bonus means is that if you deposit £20 for example, the bingo site will match your deposit and give you an extra £20 for free. Whilst £40 is enough to play online bingo for a considerable amount of time, it’s not technically free – in my eyes anyway.
Free Bingo, No Deposit
No deposit free bingo really is free online bingo. You sign up but don’t have to pay a penny and you still get to do pretty much everything you would be able to on a premium bingo site. These sites are usually aimed at newbies to online bingo as they are an easy way to learn how to play online without spending any money. I also frequent them when I’ve spent my allotted allowance on the premium sites as I can play to my heart’s content for hours if I wish.
